Here is a downloadable product someone recommended that I am passing onto you, and would like your feedback after looking at it. It is a video editing program that can be used as a instructional tool for playing or learning just about anything from a video. You can alter any video by slowing it down, zooming in, looping for repeat, freezing, etc.
For example, say you find a U-tube banjo instruction video (there are TONS of them) that you like. You can edit it so that you can actually follow each frame in many different ways.
I always found that I had to pause the videos over and over, and often I couldn't see the finger positions clearly. With this tool, you can do all that. Want to learn to play a particular song or riff from an artist you like? If you can find a video that shows the finger/hands playing it, you can use this program to zoom in, and edit it so you have an easy to follow lesson.
